Wide-grip standing towel row

  • Duration: 8 min
  • Level: Beginner
  • Goal track: Energy boost

Loop a sturdy towel around the leg of a heavy chair pressed firmly against a wall, holding one end in each hand with your hands spaced wider than shoulder-width apart. Stand facing the anchor point with your arms extended, then lean back until you feel tension in the towel. Keeping your back straight, pull both hands toward your chest by driving your elbows out to the sides, squeezing your shoulder blades together, then extend your arms with control to return to the start. Do 3 sets of 8 repetitions.
